Pumpkin Pie without Pumkin?

Your pumpkin pie may be lying to you. Turns out, that the FDA doesn't necessarily distinguish between squash and pumpkin. So that can of pumpkin could contain no pumpkin in it at all. And here's the kicker, it's apparently legal to put "100% pumpkin" on the label too.

And to make matters worse, squash is cheaper than actual pumpkin, so it's probably very likely you're not having pumpkin this Thanksgiving.
