Taiwanese beauty influencer Liz Lin Ruoyo has died at the age of 36, her husband announced in a translated post shared on her Instagram account Sunday (August 10).
"Liz she has always been a girl with a smile, sunshine and love," the tribute states. "She is always curious about new things, especially about small animals, with infinite gentleness and care; she always has a unique and fascinating taste, always able to use her vision and creativity to add beauty and inspiration to the world.
"Although Liz has quietly left, the beauty and love she left behind will always be with us," the caption continued. "As a husband, and in honor of Liz, I have edited these days into a memorial video."
Ruoyu's cause of death wasn't publicly revealed at the time of publication Tuesday (August 12) morning. The 36-year-old often shared beauty tips and tricks to her followers, with her last video shared on June 3, which showed her trying on sunglasses while shopping.
Ruoyu had more than 144,000 Instagram followers, having shared content since 2012, and was known to have a close relationship with her fans, often directly responding to her comment section.
“On social platforms, she never saw herself as an ‘influencer’ but as a friend to everyone,” he wrote. “She always tried her best to respond to every message just because she really cared and really appreciated everyone who supported her.”

Ruoyu was also known for her music career, having released her debut single, 'Mist,' in 2022.
