A wild chase through the streets of Port St Lucie ends with police arresting two suspects..wanted for crimes in South Florida.
The men are accused of robbing a mail carrier on Miami Beach. Jalen Dennis Elliot and Bernard J. Davis, both 19, are facing felony charges. Davis was also charged with marijuana possession.
Both suspects were booked into the St. Lucie County Jail and are being held on a federal hold pending the outcome of a United States Postal Inspection Service investigation.
According to sources, the original crime on Sunday, happened near Drexel and 16th Street, close to the Lincoln Road Mall. A female postal worker was robbed of her master key.
Recently, thieves across the country have been after arrow keys, which open mail and collections boxes.
