(Tallahassee, FL) -- Drivers who frequently use Florida's toll roads are seeing big savings in the second month of a new program.
The Florida Department of Transportation announced over one-million SunPass commuters saved nearly 35-million dollars in February under the Toll Relief Program enacted in January. Drivers with at least 35 monthly toll transactions get a 50 percent credit on their account. Transportation Secretary Jared Purdue says the more than 70-million dollars in savings in just two months is evidence the program is helping Florida families with real relief.
