Researchers in Europe have found that 17% of dog poop samples have a super strain of antibiotic resistant E Coli in them.
So if you consider that dogs sometimes eat that poop, that means the E Coli could be in their saliva.
Now, do you let your dog lick your face?
I absolutely do.
The conclusion is that it is possible to get an untreatable E Coli infection from your dog, which could be bad news for a vulnerable person.
Still going to let my dog lick my face though.
