Over the weekend, Selena Gomez and Hailey Baldwin were both spotted at the same restaurant, but the former insists there is no issue between the superstars.
To celebrate the release of her new album, Rare, Gomez took to West Hollywood's Craig's, where Baldwin was also in-attendance on her own merit, alongside Madison Beer, who also happens to be friends with Gomez. While the run-in wasn't intentional, fans took to Beer's social media to target the budding singer with shady remarks, so the pop titan stepped in. "This is disgusting reading all of this," Gomez commented on Beer's photo after reading all the hate. "This wasn't intentional whatsoever. I'm so disappointed that people would speak to someone like this. I have known Madison since she was a baby and watched her continue to become the woman she is. There is no issue."
Meanwhile, Beer defended herself against the hoopla, telling Instagram followers that she simply was having dinner with Baldwin. "I just had dinner with my friend Hailey of 10 years... and that's it? How is that a crime? I love Selena.. always have. (as y'all know). and I would literally never in a million years try to upset her."
In other news, Gomez's recent LP has been gathering rave reviews with many deeming it the best album of her career. For more on the project, see what the pop titan has to say about the long-awaited project during her iHeartRadio Album Release Party.
