Rachel McAdams is reportedly pregnant and expecting her very first child, as per a new report from E! News, which surfaced on Thursday (February 22).
Even though her brand new film, Game Night, hit theaters today, the 39-year-old Oscar nominee skipped out on the Wednesday premiere of the movie at the TCL Chinese Theater in Hollywood, California, further adding to her low-profile from recent months. McAdams was last photographed at an airport in Toronto, sporting a baggy jacket, which might have been to conceal the big news. Meanwhile, Us Weekly reported that the actress is actually expecting her first child with her screenwriter boyfriend, Jamie Linden. Back in June 2016, the magazine confirmed that the pair were dating after they were spotted at a friend's wedding in Virginia. "They're dating and he took her to that wedding," a source close to Linden told the mag. "I don't know how they met."
Motherhood is something that has been on McAdams' mind for some time now. "Having a few [kids] would be great," she told People in 2009. "My mom is a great inspiration to me...She's a nurse and very nurturing and gentle. She lets me be who I am. Hopefully, I can take on those qualities and be as great as her." Fast forward to a few years later in 2015, she told Marie Claire that she'd like to have children at some point in time.
Game Night, which sees McAdams co-star alongside Jason Bateman, Kyle Chandler, Jesse Plemons and Kylie Bunbury, is now in theaters. Scroll on below to see the trailer for the dark comedy!
