For 32 years, the US Postal Service has been helping people here in our neighborhood communities battle hunger and here's how you can help.
Stamp Out Hunger is Saturday, May 11. It's easy to participate - just put your non-perishable food items out by your mailbox and your mail person will pick it up and distribute it to local food banks and pantries. It's become a tradition for my family to help on this special day and maybe it can become the same for you and yours!
I had the honor of speaking with Dave Zarek, representing the US Letter Carriers and he explained how easy it is to be a part of Stamp Out Hunger for each and every one of us.
